My life has always involved animals and the outdoors in some shape or form and my Mother's prescription for anything from colds to the gnawing jumpy- belly feeling that was probably on reflection, anxiety was to "Get outside and get some fresh air into your lungs!"


I didn't realise at the time, how right she was, as somebody who has spent a large proportion of my life astride a horse with the company of a loyal canine companion I know how for me it is the best therapy to collect my thoughts and decompress and be in the moment and it is the only time that nothing else matters.


In our fast-paced, digitally-driven world, where stress and anxiety often accompany our daily lives, the healing power of nature and the companionship of animals stand out as invaluable sources of solace.
